About the Sequential Compression Device BOA® Max2

The BOA® Max2 device was designed according to Dr Vodder's methods of lymphatic drainage and offers a highly effective treatment result. The BOA® Max2 therefore uses a method that is proven to be the most effective and safe medical lymph drainage system available. The device has 24 pneumatic pipes that connect to inflatable pants.

The pants have 12 chambers in each leg. The chambers work independently from each other and the system can auto correct to ensure correct pressure is applied in each chamber.

The system is superior to devices where only 3 or 6 chambers per leg are offered.

It allows for effective sequential pressure to move lymph and blood in an upward direction.

The BOA® Max2 was the first sequential lymphatic drainage device in the world which replaced manual lymphatic drainage. Polish company METRUM CRYOFLEX developed the BOA® Max2 in the 1990’s.

The device’s treatment algorithms are based on lymphatic drainage massage technique by Dr Emil Vodder.
